This Privacy Policy explains how Path2Admission (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles your information when you use the Path2Admission iOS app and path2admission.app.

No account, no sign-up

You don’t create an account, username, or password to use Path2Admission. The app works without you signing in, and we don’t maintain a profile about you on our servers. Because there’s no account, there’s no login credential for us to lose.

On-device first

Your data stays on your device first. Your profile (GPA, test scores, preferences), school lists, visit plans, and the “Up next” feed are stored locally on your phone. This information is not uploaded to our servers.

Aggregate-only sync

Anything that does leave your device is aggregate and non-identifying — for example, counts of how often a feature is used so we can improve the app. We do not transmit personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, profile, test scores, school lists, or the contents of your plans off your device. Your personal admissions data is not part of any sync.

AI: bring your own, or use ours

  • Bring your own keys. You may add your own API keys for providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or Grok. When you do, AI requests go directly from your device to that provider under your own account and their terms — we do not relay or store them.
  • Built-in assistant. If you use the built-in Path2Admission assistant, requests are processed by Cloudflare Workers AI. Only the context needed to answer your request is sent, and only for that request. Cloudflare does not use this content to train its foundation models, and it is not retained beyond serving your request.

Information we may collect

  • Email address — only if you choose to join one of our lists (for example, to receive a TestFlight invite for the iOS early-access program, or to hear when Android is ready) or when you contact us. This is separate from the app, which requires no account.
  • Usage analytics — pages visited and clicks, collected via PostHog to understand what’s helpful. We do not sell this data.
  • App Store data — standard download information handled by Apple.

We do not sell your data

We never sell your personal information to third parties. There is no advertising layer that watches your activity.

Your choices

  • Use the app without an account or sign-up.
  • Export your data from the app at any time.
  • Delete your data from the app at any time.
  • Choose which AI provider to use, or none at all.
  • Opt out of analytics where offered by your device or our tooling.

Children’s privacy

Path2Admission is designed for high-school students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
