How it works

Three simple steps to see the full picture.

01

Student exports from the app

Your student shares their school list as a JSON file from Path2Admission on iOS. One tap.

02

They share it with you

AirDrop, email, or text — however you two share things. The file is small and sends instantly.

03

You upload and review

Drag the file onto the research portal. Sort, filter, add notes, and export a PDF. All in your browser.

What you can do

Everything you need to stay in the loop.

Sort & filter

See the list your way. Sort by name, location, category, or fit score. Filter by reach, target, or safety.

Add your notes

Add your own thoughts for each school. Notes stay in your browser and show up in the PDF.

Export as PDF

Print or save a clean PDF with school details, URLs, and your notes. Perfect for family conversations.

Privacy & trust

Your data never leaves this browser.

The school list you upload is stored in your browser's local storage — not on our servers. After 30 days, it's automatically removed. You can clear it yourself at any time. No sign-up. No server upload. No data selling.

FAQ

Common questions from parents.

Does my student need the app?

Yes. Your student builds their school list in Path2Admission on iOS and exports it as a JSON file. They can share that file with you however you two share things.

Do I need an account?

No. Just upload the JSON file. Everything stays in your browser's local storage — no sign-up, no server upload.

Can I edit my student's list?

You can add your own notes for each school, but the school list itself is read-only. It's their list — you're adding your perspective.

How long does my data stay?

30 days in your browser, then it's automatically cleared. You can clear it yourself at any time by clicking 'Start Over' on the research page.
